Our threads

We embroider with high-tenacity polyester thread. It holds its colour through industrial laundering and bleach far better than rayon, which matters when a uniform is washed several times a week for years.

Thread colours are matched to your brand from a physical colour card rather than from a screen. Screens vary; a card does not. If you have a Pantone reference we will match to the nearest thread and show you the result on a proof before the run.

Backing and stabiliser are chosen per garment. A soft polo needs a different backing from a structured cap or a fleece, and getting this wrong is the usual reason a logo puckers.

Artwork is digitised once — converted into a stitch file with the right density and pull compensation for the fabric. After that it stays on file and every reorder uses it free of charge.
